Definition of "gdc12":

GDC12 is the model number of a large-diaphragm condenser capsule designed and manufactured by JZ Microphones. It is intended to recreate the sound of the AKG C12 tube microphone, although it bears little physical resemblance to the AKG CK12 capsule.

The GDC12 is a center-terminated design, with a single 25 mm Mylar diaphragm sputtered with a gold alloy using JZ’s proprietary “Golden Drops” technique.
