CK-13 is the name of a microphone capsule developed by Telefunken Elektroakustik (formerly Telefunken USA).
It is a large-diaphragm, edge- terminated, multipattern capable condenser capsule modeled after AKG’s CK-12.
Telefunken Elektroakustik began developing a historically-accurate CK-12 reproduction capsule in 2004-2005. The CK-13 differs from the company’s CK-12 reissue in just one respect: the diaphragms, rather than gold-coated Mylar, are made of a titanium-aluminum alloy called Alloy 2213™.
