Bartlett Audio Fiddle Mic
Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone
The Bartlett Audio Fiddle Mic is an omnidirectional miniature condenser mic designed to reproduce the natural sound of violin-family instruments while allowing the player freedom of motion in a performance setting. The mic is mounted in a small foam block that is held under the tailpiece and can be angled toward the bridge or f-hole, depending on the desired timbre. The circuit and capsule are voiced to tame the potential harshness inherent in close-miked violins.
The Fiddle Mic has a permanently attached 10-foot cable terminating in an XLR connector and does require phantom power.
