Superlux PRO268B
Cardioid Pencil Condenser Microphone
The Superlux PRO268B is a back-electret pencil condenser with detachable cardioid capsule. This is a low-cost mic, part of Superlux’ “performance” series, within which it is recommended for overhead applications.
The mic has a fairly high noise floor of 25dB, making it unsuitable for quiet acoustic instruments.
Its frequency response chart shows reduced low frequency response below 200Hz and a broad +5dB peak centered at 8500 Hz.
It ships with the HM30S clip with screw knob, YA2 threaded adapter, S20 windscreen, and a storage pouch.
