Cardioid Condenser Microphone

The CMH8B is a large-diaphragm FET condenser with a fixed Cardioid polar pattern.

The mic uses a single 1-inch (large diaphragm) capsule with 3 micron diaphragm material. The circuitry is a transformer-coupled FET design.

Two switches on the front of the mic independently enable a high-pass filter (200Hz) and a -10dB pad. These switches distinguish the CMH8B from the CMH8A, which is otherwise identical.

A dual-layer mesh protects the capsule. The aluminum body has a “champagne silver” finish.

The mic ships with HM8 hardmount and A3 plastic hardcase.
