Cardioid Dynamic Microphone

The Stedman Transonic microphone offers something that no other dynamic microphone has… two distinct and very effective response curves.

One is tailored for stage applications, and the other for the studio. With the recessed side mount switch in the stage position, the Transonic response provides a subtle bass boost and the optimum presence peak to add clarity and cut through on live performances. In the studio position this efficient, dynamic, large element design offers an extremely smooth frequency response, ideal for recording applications including vocals, acoustic instruments, percussion and cabinet miking.

The Transonic assembly is built using a heavy die cast alloy body with sturdy heavy gauge steel screen and internal shock protection. This design is very road worthy yet, when used in the studio yields a natural and exceptionally accurate sound. The included Stedman AC-04 rubber shock proof Iso-clip is also, ideal for both stage and studio.

The Stedman TR1 is also known as: Transonic.
