Shure MV88
Mid-Side Stereo Condenser Stereo Microphone
The Shure MV88 is a stereo mid/side mic that connects directly to any iOS device with a Lightning port.
The MV88 can be operated through the free Shure MOTIV app, which allows control of stereo width, 5-band EQ, compression, limiting, and/or any of five DSP presets (speech, singing, acoustic, loud, flat).
The microphone has two electret capsules, each 1cm in diameter. One is cardioid (end address), and the other is figure-8 (side address), making the microphone a mid-side stereo mic. The mic has a hinge that allows the mic to pivot 90 degrees.
Various sample and bit rates are selectable using the MOTIV app, with a maximum resolution of 24bits and a 48kHz sample rate.
The MV88 comes with a windscreen, an 1/8-inch headphone extender cable, and a zippered carrying case.
