Shinybox 23
Bidirectional Ribbon Microphone
The ShinyBox 23 was one of two models of passive ribbon microphone from Jon Ulrigg. Like the model 46, the 23 was a “long ribbon” design, with a 2-inch ribbon made of 2-micron aluminum. Both use components manufactured in China.
Each microphone shipped with a soft canvas protective bag and a hardshell case for storing the microphone upright.
The ShinyBox 23 ribbon has been discontinued.
