Schoeps Mikrofone
Founded in 1948 by Dr. Karl Schoeps, the eponymous microphone company has been a technical leader in the audio industry for over 60 years.
The company is perhaps best known for its “Colette” series of microphones, in which 20 different capsules can be paired with the CMC5/CMC6 solid state head amps, or the M222 tube head amp, or the CMD 2 digital head amp. The range of capsules includes singe pattern small-diaphragm Cardioid, Omni, Wide Cardioid, Supercardioid, and Figure-of-8, as well as switchable multipattern designs and a variety of pre-equalized special-purpose designs for specific applications.
