Samson Q7
Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone
The Samson Q7 is a handheld supercardioid stage vocal mic.
It shares numerous features with its sibling, the Q8:
- Neodymium magnets for higher output
- Supercardioid polar pattern
- Die-cast zinc alloy body
- Internal shockmounting of capsule assembly
Most of the text describing the Q7 is reproduced verbatim for the Q8, yet the published frequency response and polar pattern differ. The Q7 has a smoother high-frequency response (or, at least, a more smoothed response plot), which rolls off at a higher bass frequency and a lower treble frequency. The Q8, in contrast, has a fuller response plot, and a flatter midrange.
The mic ships with a stand clip and plastic case.
