Samson CL5
Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The Samson CL5 is a handheld condenser for vocals and instruments.
The CL5 has a flat response from 100Hz–3kHz, a gentle presence peak centered at 4.5kHz and another centered at 10kHz.
The low mass capsule features a 3micron gold-sputtered diaphragm. The capsule is shockmounted. The capsule diameter is unknown.
The mic body is die-cast and available in two finishes, black (CL5B) or Nickel (CL5N). The dual stage windscreen reduces popping.
Ships with foam-lined impact resistant aluminum case.
The Samson CL5 is also known as: CL5N, CL5B.
The mic was released in 2007.
