Samar Audio Design manufactures high-end boutique ribbon microphones and audio transformers.
The company produces tape-wound toroidal output transformers for ribbon and condensers microphones, with a wide range of available ratios to suit various transducer and circuit combinations.
Bobbin-style transformers for condenser mics or line uses are also available, as are any number of custom options.
The company’s first passive ribbon microphone, the MF65, will be released in the summer of 2011.
