CardioidRØDE NT3

Cardioid Condenser Microphone

The NT3 is a fixed-cardioid FET condenser mic that is unique in its ability to provide an externally-biased, “true” condenser capsule that can be powered by a 9V battery (or 12, 24 or 48V phantom power).

The 3/4'' capsule (roughly 19mm) is internally shockmounted. The internal preamp is designed for high RF rejection, and incorporates a (transformerless) bipolar-transistor-based output circuit.

The body is metal. The mic is supplied in a zip pouch with a foam windshield, stand mount and thread adaptor.

The mic is compatible with Rode SM3, SM4 and SM5 shockmounts and with the Rode Blimp windscreen.

The RØDE NT3 is also known as: NT-3.
