Detachable-Capsule Condenser Microphone

The MK-012-USB combines the FET preamp circuit of the famous MK-012 with USB power and an A/D converter (16Bit/48kHz resolution). The mic preamp is compatible with most Oktava capsules; see below for a full list.

The 012-USB ships in a soft case with a USB cable. No capsules are included; the product appears to be targeted at MK-012 owners who seek the convenience of USB-powered recording, and who already own a selection of applicable capsules.
