Milab Microphones LC-25
Cardioid Condenser Microphone
According to Milab, the LC-25 was one of the industry’s first handheld condenser designs. At a time when most onstage vocal microphones were moving-coil dynamic designs, the LC-25 provided new levels of detail and clarity, while maintaining the rugged build quality required for live-sound applications.
The mic had a 21mm electret condenser capsule and a transformerless output circuit, built using through-hole components on the PCB.
It was available in two configurations:
- LC-25 - 6mV/Pa, 200Ω
- LC-25LL (Line Level) - 300 mV/Pa, 400Ω
Although the mic is officially discontinued, Milab can build new LC-25 and LC-25LL microphones upon request.
