Multi-Pattern Condenser Microphone

Milab DC-63 is a multipattern condenser mic with Milab’s characteristic rectangular capsule.

The mic’s polar pattern and other settings are selected by a combination of two ring switches and a potentiometer on the microphone body. This provides 44 combinations of pattern, 12dB pad and high pass filtering.

The DC-63 uses a rectangular dual membrane condenser capsule and dual FET preamplifier. The capsule is shockmounted with silicon rubber to reduce mechanical noise.

The Milab Microphones DC-63 is also known as: DC63.

The mic was released in 1982.
