HypercardioidMicrotech Gefell M 910

Hypercardioid Condenser Microphone

The M 910 is a large-diaphragm FET condenser with an unusual shape, designed for uncolored reproduction of vocal and instrumental soloists.

It is equipped with a -10dB pad and a high-pass filter. See also the M900, a cardioid version of the same microphone.

Gefell recommends a minimum working distance of 8-12 inches for vocal use and suggests further that at closer distances the proximity effect will emphasize the low frequencies.

The M910 ships in a wooden case, with a dark bronze finish (p/n 211141). Optional accessories include a foam windscreen (p/n W 90), pop screen (p/n PO 70), stand clamp (p/n MKV 8), elastic suspension mount (p/n EA90 for dark bronze, AT 8410a for “anthracite”), and more.

The Microtech Gefell M 910 is also known as: M910.
