Marek Design GmbH
Marek Design is a small family business in eastern Germany, near the Czech Republic and only about 20km from Microtech-Gefell. It was founded in 1959 by Herbert Marek, and is run by his sons Andres and Mathias Marek.
The company manufactures a small line of large-diaphragm tube condenser microphones, built by hand in the family-run factory using primarily domestic German components. The mic capsules are produced on site.
As of early 2019, we learned that the website had been taken over by an affiliate marketer. We do not know whether the company is still in business.
