MXL Revelation Solo
Cardioid Tube Condenser Microphone
The Revelation Solo is a fixed Cardioid version of MXL’s successful Revelation multipattern tube microphone. The new model shares the original’s 32mm K67-type capsule and EF86 tube.
Three switches on the Solo power supply provide a ground lift, phase reverse, and high-pass filter (-12dB/octave @ 125Hz). All three of these features can also be found on the original Revelation.
We assume that the Solo retains the transformer-coupled output circuit of the multipattern Revelation.
