Heil Sound PR-38
Cardioid Dynamic Microphone
The PR38 was intended to be a side-address version of the Heil PR-30 dynamic microphone. Although initially scheduled to be released in September 2008, the design was shelved because the manufacturer could not achieve the desired level of rear- and side-rejection common to the end-address Heil mics.
The PR-38 was never produced commercially. Heil dropped the side-address design, in favor of the PR-31 (an end-address PR-30 in a shorter body).
The Heil Sound PR-38 is also known as: PR38.
The mic was released in 2008.
