Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone

The N/D367 is a handheld vocal dynamic mic designed for live performance. Its neodymium magnet provided high output, and its supercardioid pickup pattern helps reduce feedback.

The mic’s far-field frequency response drops rapidly below 150Hz. Proximity effect boosts the low-frequency response considerably;

The mic’s body is finished in EV’s “Warm Grip” handle. A “multistage” shockmount (presumably internal) reduces handling noise.

Electro-Voice

The N/DYM® microphones feature EV’s AcoustiDYM™ shockmount system. This unique vibration isolating system works as a multistage device. At low frequencies, a rear sound wave cancels the diaphragm motion, while, at high frequencies, the specially designed rubber shock mount isolates the transducer from motion. Combining AcoustiDYM™ with the elastomeric Warm-Grip™ handle and the windscreen bumper produces an advanced technology, vibration isolating system which dramatically reduces all forms of handling noise for the most demanding situations.

The mic has a noiseless on/off switch.

The Electro-Voice N/D367S is also known as: ND367s ND367.
