CAD Audio D12
Cardioid Dynamic Microphone
The CAD D12 is a moving-coil dynamic microphone with fixed cardioid polar pattern.
Its frequency response is contoured for kick drums and other bass instruments. The published graph follows the common “scooped mids” model for tailored dynamics: an 11dB boost around 80–100Hz, a 5dB scoop at 450Hz, and broad boost from 1kHz to ~15kHz where response falls dramatically.
The D12 features an integrated swivel mount.
The D12 is also available as part of the CAD Touring 7 kit.
