Behringer C-4
Cardioid Pencil Condenser Microphone
The Behringer C-4 is a small-diaphragm FET condenser with a fixed Cardioid pickup pattern. The mic is sold in matched pairs.
A single switch on the front of the microphone body enables either a high-pass filter (-6dB/octave @ 120 Hz) or a -10dB cut. An identical switch can be found on the C-2 FET pencil mic pair.
The C-4 has higher sensitivity (at 12mV/Pa) than the C-2 (8.9 mV/Pa), and lower max SPL (136dB vs 150dB). Most other specifications are comparable.
No frequency-response graph nor self-noise figures for the C-4 have been published.
The C-4 package includes two microphones, two clips, two foam windscreens, a stereo mounting bar, and a carrying case.
The Behringer C-4 is also known as: C4.
The mic was released in 2008.
