Behringer C-2
Cardioid Pencil Condenser Microphone
The C-2 is an inexpensive small-diaphragm FET condenser with a fixed Cardioid polar pattern. The C2 is sold in factory-matched pairs.
A single switch on each microphone’s die-cast metal body enables either a high-pass filter (-6dB/octave @ 120Hz) or a -10dB pad.
The mic’s published frequency-response graph shows a low-end rolloff below 300Hz, measuring about 4dB/octave. Presumably this is accurate without the HPF enabled.
The C-2 ships as a stereo pair: two microphones, two foam wind filters, two hard clips, one stereo bar, and a plastic case.
The Behringer C-2 is also known as: C2.
The mic was released in 2008.
