Audio-Technica MB 3k
Hypercardioid Dynamic Microphone
The MB 3k is an inexpensive handheld dynamic vocal mic, part of Audio Technica’s “Midnight Blues” series.
It has a hypercardioid polar pattern that widens at lower frequencies.
Like many of the mics in this series, it has an all-metal body with “soft touch” finish, a silent on/off switch, a gold-plated XLR jack, and a “HI-ENERGY” Neodymium magnet in the dynamic cartridge.
It ships with the AT8470 hard mount, a thread adapter, and a storage pouch. It is also available bundled with a 15-foot XLR cable, as the MB3k/c.
The Audio-Technica MB 3k is also known as: MB3k.
