Audio-Technica ATM510
Cardioid Dynamic Microphone
ATM510 is a handheld cardioid dynamic designed for live vocal use.
The mic uses a neodymium magnet which allows for a smaller, more powerful capsule with less weight. The mic is lighter than the Shure SM-58, Beta 58A and most other similar handheld dynamics.
The frequency response is reportedly tailored to produce smooth, natural vocals; however, as of this writing,
According to Audio-Technica, internal shockmounting of the capsule greatly reduces handling noise. A multi-stage windscreen controls popping and sibilance.
The mic body and grille are all metal. The XLR connector is gold plated.
The mic ships with a clip and a storage pouch.
The Audio-Technica ATM510 is also known as: ATM-510.
The mic was released in 2012.
